I see creativity as seeing links between things in a way most people do not — Making people like Jesus, Buddha, and the Dali Lama so influential with their unique analogies, philosophies, and absolute truths.
It is not necessary to be original when being creative. It is in fact better to be innovative, remixing ideas.
Steve Jobs did not invent the smartphone, but he was inventive in combining an MP3 player, a phone, and internet communication, on a touch screen device in a way that’s never been done before, the “iPhone.”
He didn’t invent the MP3 player, he was creative in revolutionizing the way people pay for music with, “iTunes.”
You don’t have to drop tabs or pull gravs to become more creative.
Every day, write down remixes of 2-4 things that solve a problem or offer a unique experience (A smoothie of ideas).
Fun: Trampolines, parkour, dodge ball.
Productivity: Binaural tones, reading, focus pills.
Home: Scents, Color Changing bulbs, Vintage Furniture, Sound.
Food: Healthy, Organic, Filling.
